Community Service
To promote boating safety and support our local community, our club performs various civic services, including:

Vessel Safety Checks to assure boat owners that necessary equipment is onboard and operating properly to meet U.S. Coast Guard regulations

Youth group activities such as a "Day on the Water" for Boys and Girls Club members and other area children

Boat shows, exhibits and demonstrations, and our annual "Deck the Hulls" Christmas Boat Parade.​

"Virtual" Trainer simulation tool at local events to practice boat maneuvering

Cooperative charting to keep NOAA nautical charts accurate. Our club has adopted the “Port Royal Sound and Inland Passages” area, which goes from Beaufort in the north to Daufuskie and Hilton Head Island in the south. Our members volunteer to inspect and report any damage of small craft facilities and aids to navigation (ATON).
